A winter tale to remember

We're in this together boys

I make no promises of not referring to the freezing weather again, because this morning it's 14 degrees outside, and even though today is March 1st, the record breaking winter is still upon us!

Why will I remember the first major snow storm that hit New York City this winter? Simple. The day before it arrived, Vyna and I brought a large bag of bird seeds (we're both bird lovers). On the first morning of the snow storm, I was making my way to the backyard to feed the birds, reached the top concrete step (there's seven in total), and suddenly slipped on a pile of ice that was covering one of the stairs, and had a nasty tumble all the way down to the bottom. Ouch!

Have you ever seen the 1960s Batman with Adam West? ‘wallop... biff... smash…sock… bang…' That's exactly how I felt, all battered and bruised. Later that day, I was all black-and-blue, and to this very day I still ache.

I can tell you the bird seeds went everywhere, by the time I returned to the house, the little creatures were so hungry that all of seeds were completely gone! “He loves to entertain us” tweeted our feathered friends.

Did you see that fall?
Michael and Vyna are great neighbors
I love New York
Lets face it "I look good"
