While perusing through the Mail on line, I came across these pictures of One World Trade Center and I just knew you'd want to see them too. When this monumental task is completed, it'll be the tallest building in Manhattan and one of incredible poignancy for New York City. These stunning pictures showed how the area has been reborn since the 9/11 attacks. One World Trade Center is designed by renowned architect David Childs. Standing in the north-west corner of the street, it is THE show stopper down on Wall Street. The first cornerstone was laid down on July 4, 2004 and as the building rose, it became known as the Freedom Tower.
