Do You Understand British Humor?

The Power of Words
In my profile, I explain that my blog My New York Diary is a fun blog that is mostly about anything that crosses my mind, as I observe my fellow New Yorkers. I write my posts about anything that enters my head and believe me I have plenty of material living in New York.

For instance, I visited my doctor and there he was listening to my heart through his stethoscope he said to me: “I can’t hear your heart beating, are you breathing?” “Do I have time for a second opinion?" Talk about a scare!
Happy Bones - Happy Bones is a coffee shop in Little Italy located on Broome St. It's small, so you may not be able to grab a seat but it's worth the stop.
Visiting a coffee shop I asked for a black coffee... “no milk” the assistant said. Yes! I mentally punched the air (believe me I have no end of problems with this request) “how about cream in your coffee sir? American’s have a designative way of saying ‘sir’ classic!

It's a Joke!
Maybe it's my British accent which brings out the British humor in everyone.
